Colic Is a Sudden Sharp Pain That Comes In Waves And may Be Accompanied By Vomiting; Sweating And The Need To Double Up. Colic Can Be Caused By Several Potentially Serious Disorders, Such As Intestinal Obstruction; Inflammation Of The Peritoneum; or Stones In The Gall Bladder Or In The Kidneys. If Such Pain Continues For More Than One Hour, a Physician Must Be Consulted.
Continuous Pain That Comes On Suddenly, Together With Slight Fever, Tenderness Of The Abdomen When Touched, And Sometimes Vomiting And Constipation, May Be Caused By Inflammation Of The Appendix, Gall Bladder, Pancreas, Or In Women a Fallopian Tube.
In Women, An Ectopic Pregnancy May Also Be a Cause. If Such Symptoms Continue For More Than Four Hours, a Physician Should Be Consulted.
